To be effective in metal 3D printing, we need to be efficient during each step of the process — data preparation, building, post-processing — all while dealing with the technology’s challenges. In this presentation, we talk about finding that sweet spot where you have sufficient support to guarantee a successful build while avoiding build failures and excess support. We’ll also discuss our new software solution that uses artificial intelligence to analyse layer images from 3D printers. It identifies errors, visually represents them on images and models, helps users optimize processes, reduce waste, cut costs, and achieve consistent results. It also detects hard-to-spot errors, enabling detailed analysis of their impact on the build.
